TIGERVILLE, S.C. |  Young Harris College had four players in double figures as Young Harris College picked up a 70-58 non-conference victory over North Greenville University Wednesday (Nov. 17) evening.

The Mountain Lions improved to 3-0, while the Crusaders slipped to 0-3. Young Harris returns to action at 1:30 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 20) as they face Clinton College in its home opener at the YHC Recreation and Fitness Center.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

• Mackenzie Johnson picked up her second double double of the season with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Johnson was 6-of-10 from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe.
• Carly Winters connected on five three-pointers and finished with 15 points, while Niaya White had 12 points and four steals.
• Lindsey Caudell added 11 points as she sank three triples.
• The Mountain Lions opened up a 21-14 lead after the first quarter as they shot 53.3 percent (8-of-15) from the floor and never looked back.
• YHC opened up its largest lead - 12 points (54-42) - after Johnson sank three free throws just four seconds into the fourth quarter.
