YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Karl Chavis scored 33 points to lead the Purple team to a 103-99 win over the White team Monday (Oct. 25) in the annual Young Harris College men's basketball Purple-White game at the YHC Recreation and Fitness Center.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

• Chavis was one of four players on the Purple squad that finished in double figures. Seth McCoy scored 17 points on five three-pointers, while Carl Cleveland finished with a double double (14 points, 10 rebounds). Lenny Pradia added 12 more points.
• Chavis was 15-of-18 shooting from the floor and added seven rebounds and six assists. 
• Carter Berish also grabbed seven rebounds for Purple.
• Griffin Neville led the White team with 22 points, while Anterrious Rhyan tossed in 21. Christian Schach tallied 15 points, while Sam Conley (14) and Eden Davis (12) finished in double figures.
• Caleb Towns led the White tream with seven rebounds, while Conley grabbed six.
• The Mountain Lions open their 2021-22 season Nov. 12 when they travel to Charlotte, North Carolina, for a 5 p.m. game against Queens University of Charlotte.
