DUE WEST, S.C. | Erskine College defeated Young Harris College 20-25, 25-15, 25-13, and 25-17 in a non-conference volleyball match at the Galloway Center Friday (Oct. 22) evening.

The Flying Fleet improved to 9-16, while the Mountain Lions fell to 3-16. Young Harris returns to action Oct. 30 when they host Augusta University in a 2 p.m. Peach Belt Conference match inside the YHC Recreation and Fitness Center.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

• Chase Vaigneur led the Mountain Lions with 11 kills, while Shelby Mullins had seven,
• Sophie Bearden and Lily Hidalgo each recorded six kills, while Hidalgo also tallied six digs.
• Annie Messler had a double double for YHC with 15 assists and 11 digs. She also added five kills and three service aces.
• Alex Boydstone registered 11 assists and added six digs.
• Joha Bernis topped the Mountain Lions with 27 digs.
