CLINTON, Miss. | Zach Ingram and Bryce Lewis combined on a one-hitter as Mississippi College salvaged the final game of the weekend series against Young Harris College 11-1 Sunday (Feb. 9) afternoon at Frierson Field.
The Choctaws improved to 3-3, while the 33rd-ranked Mountain Lions, who took two-out-of three games this weekend, fell to 4-1. Young Harris returns to action Friday (Feb. 14) with a 6 p.m. game against Albany State University in Albany, Georgia.
Ingram (1-1) only allowed a
Tucker Greer double to right-center field in the first inning over his six innings of work.
George Farid drove in four runs for Mississippi College and had a home runs, while Chauncey Callier also hit a home run and drove in three runs.
Kyle Turner (0-1) earned the loss for the Mountain Lions.
