YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College men's tennis team fell to No. 2 Columbus State University 6-1 in a Peach Belt Conference match Sunday (April 7) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Cougars improved to 18-2 overall and 7-0 in the PBC, while the Mountain Lions fell to 1-11 and 1-6. Young Harris hosts Emmanuel (Ga.) College in a 2 p.m. home match Wednesday (April 10).
Javier Villar earned the Mountain Lions' point as he defeated Fabien Asdrubal 3-6, 6-2, and 10-3 in the super tiebreaker at No. 1 singles.
