No. 4 Lander gets past Mountain Lions

GREENWOOD, S.C. | No. 4 Lander University defeated Young Harris College 6-1 in a Peach Belt Conference men's tennis match Sunday (March 31) afternoon at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.

The Bearcats improved to 13-3 overall and to 5-1 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 0-10 and 0-4. Young Harris returns to the action Saturday (April 6) when they host Georgia Southwestern State University in a noon PBC match at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

Romeo Luque earned the Mountain Lions' point as he defeated Philippe Courteau 6-4, 7-5 at No. 5 singles.
