YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The University of North Georgia picked up a 7-0 Peach Belt Conference men's tennis victory over Young Harris College Saturday (March 23) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex in a battle of Blood Mountain rivals.
The No. 7 Nighthawks improved to 12-1 overall and to 3-0 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 0-8 and 0-3. Young Harris returns to action Saturday (March 30) when they face Francis Marion University in an 11 a.m. PBC match in Florence, South Carolina.
Young Harris picked up a win at No. 1 doubles as the tandem of
Ignacio Ascarrunz and
Kash Reddiyar, who are ranked No. 36 in the latest ITA Division II doubles rankings, defeated their opposition 7-6 (2).
