WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. | The University of Cumberlands defeated Young Harris College 7-2 in a men's tennis match Saturday (Feb. 9) afternoon at the UC Tennis Courts.

The Patriots improved to 2-0, while the Mountain Lions fell to 0-2. Young Harris will return to action Wednesday (Feb. 13) with a 2 p.m. match against Anderson (S.C.) University in Anderson, South Carolina.

Young Harris picked up wins at No. 1 singles as Javier Villar won 6-3, 6-4, while Kash Reddiyar dropped the first set 6-2 before winning 6-3, 7-5 to earn a point at No. 3 singles.
