LUMBERTON, N.C.  |  The Young Harris College women's cross country team finished in 11th place at the Peach Belt Conference Championship Saturday (Oct. 26) morning at Luther Britt Park. 

The Mountain Lions finished with a team score of 320. Flagler College won the team event with a score of 40, nine points ahead of the University of North Georgia. 

Sydney Hutchinson was named to the PBC All-Sportsmanship team. 

Latty Ryals finished as the top runner for Young Harris as she finished 57th with a time of 21:40.0. Hutchinson was next in 79th place with a time of 23:50.5. Samara Aponte finished 97th with a time of 25:48.2 and was followed by Jessica Hubbard (28:51.1, 98th) and Dominga Francisco (28:52.4, 99th).
