Box Score FLORENCE, S.C. | Young Harris College recorded a 5-4 Peach Belt Conference women's tennis victory over Francis Marion University Sunday (March 4) afternoon at the Kassab Courts.
The Mountain Lions improved to 7-2 overall and to 4-1 in the Peach Belt, while the Patriots slipped to 6-5 and 1-4. Young Harris returns home to the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex Tuesday (March 6) with a 2 p.m. PBC match against Lander University.

Ana Rodriguez upended Marie Krueger and Elisa Lang, who are ranked 13th nationally, 9-8 (2) in the No. 1 flight. However, Francis Marion took a 4-3 lead in singles before the Mountain Lions rallied to tie the match at 4 when
Maria Puerta won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6 singles. Young Harris won the match when
Carol Quevedo took a 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles.
