Box Score YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College easily defeated the University of Cumberlands 8-1 in a non-conference women's tennis match Tuesday (March 13) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The Mountain LIons, who are ranked No. 8 in the latest ITA regional rankings, improved to 9-3, while the Patriots fell to 2-6. YHC returns to the tennis courts Friday (March 16) with a noon match against Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee.

Young Harris took a 3-0 lead after doubles and claimed five singles wins - all in straight sets - to wrap up the victory.
