Box Score MONTEVALLO, Ala. | The University of Montevallo swept all six singles matches as the Falcons registered a 7-2 non-conference women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Saturday (March 10) morning at the University of Montevallo Tennis Court Complex.
The Falcons improved to 12-1, while the Mountain Lions fell to 8-3. Young Harris will continue its trek through Alabama Sunday (March 11) as they travel to Livingston, Alabama, for an 11 a.m. Central time match against the University of West Alabama.
Young Harris opened the match by taking two of the three doubles matches.
Oriana Labaqui and
Ana Rodriguez teammed up to take No. 1 doubles 8-5, while
Elin Rundcrantz and
Laura Sanchez claimed an 8-5 win at No. 3 doubles.
