Box Score YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College rallied in its final two singles matches to pull out a 5-4 Peach Belt Conference women's tennis victory over Georgia College Friday (Feb. 23) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The Mountain Lions won their fourth consecutive match as they improved to 4-1 overall and to 1-0 in the Peach Belt, while the Bobcats fell to 2-1 and 1-1. Young Harris will entertain No. 3-ranked Columbus State University in a 1 p.m. PBC homer match Saturday (Feb. 24).

The Mountain Lions opened up a 2-1 lead after doubles, bur the Bobcats took a 4-3 lead after winning three of the first four singles matches. Young Harris tied the match at 4 when Laura Sanchez won a three-set match at No. 4 singles. Sanchez dropped the first set 6-3, before winning next two sets by identical 6-1 scores. The Mountain Lions claimed the win with a straight-set victory (6-1, 7-6 (6)) at No. 2 singles by Oriana Labaqui.
