Box Score YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College edged Lincoln Memorial University 5-4 in a non-conference women's tennis match Tuesday (Feb. 20) in its home opener at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The Mountain Lions improved to 3-1, while the Railsplitters fell to 5-2. Young Harris will open its Peach Belt Conference schedule with a 1 p.m. home match against Georgia College Friday (Feb. 23).

The Mountain Lions took a commanding 3-0 lead after doubles, but saw LMU rallied to tie the score at 4. Elin Rundcrantz sealed the win at No. 1 singles with a hard-fought  three-set victory over her opponent. She dropped her first set in a tiebreaker before rallying to win the next two sets 6-2 and 7-5.
