Box Score HICKORY, N.C. | Lenoir-Rhyne University won four singles matches as the Bears rallied for a 5-4 victory to spoil Young Harris College's season opener Thursday (Feb. 1) afternoon at the YMCA of the Catawba Valley.

The Bears improved to 3-0, while the Mountain Lions fell to 0-1. Young Harris returns to action Tuesday (Feb. 6) with a 1 p.m. match against Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee.

The Mountain Lions took a 2-1 lead after doubles as Oriana Labaqui/Ana Rodriguez and Carol Quevedo/Elin Rundcrantz picked up victories in the top two flights.

Lenoir-Rhyne tied the match at 3 after picking up wins at No. 2 and 3 singles. With Rundcrantz and Laura Sanchez picking up wins at No. 1 and No. 4 singles, the Bears won the final two matches to earn the win.
