PEMBROKE, N.C.  |  Young Harris College fell to the University of North Carolina at Pembroke 105-70 in a Peach Belt Conference men's basketball game Saturday (Dec. 1) afternoon at the Lumbee Gauarnty Bank Court.

The Braves improved to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in the PBC, while the Mountain Lions fell to 2-5 and 0-1. Young Harris returns to action Thursday (Dec. 13) as they host Lander University in a 7:30 p.m. PBC contest at the YHC Basketball Arena. 

UNCP jumped to a 15 point lead (30-15) midway through the first half and kept the momentum as they ended the half on a 29-15 run. 

Alphonso Willis led the way for the Mountain Lions with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. Justin Jones picked up 23 points and four rebounds. 

Seven players for the Braves scored in double digits as they were led by Cam Hamilton with 21 points, five rebounds, and six steals. Jamal Bryant added a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
