FLORENCE, S.C. | Georgia College held off Young Harris College 5-3 in an elimination match at the 2017 Peach Belt Conference Women's Tennis Tournament Saturday (April 22) morning at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center.
The 31st-ranked Bobcats improved to 11-10 overall, while the Mountain Lions, who are ranked No. 38 in the ITA, fell to 15-8. The Mountain Lions, who are ranked sixth in the latest NCAA Division II regional rankings, will find out Tuesday (April 25) at 8 p.m. if they will earn a trip to the NCAA tournament for the first time in the program's history.

Carol Quevedo 7-6, 2-6, 6-4 at No. 5 singles.
