YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Francis Marion University defeated Young Harris College 7-2 in a battle of nationally ranked women's tennis teams Sunday (March 5) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Patriots, who are ranked 18th, improved to 6-5 overall and to 2-3 in the Peach Belt Conference, while the No. 50 Mountain Lions fell to 8-3 and 4-2. Young Harris returns to action March 18th with a 2 p.m. non-conference road match at Lincoln Memorial University.

Laura Sanchez teamed up to win No. 3 doubles, while
Eva Castiglioni added another point for the Mountain Lions with a win at No. 1 singles.
