HARROGATE, Tenn. | The Young Harris College women's tennis team won five of six singles matches as they rolled to a 7-2 non-conference win over Lincoln Memorial University Saturday (March 18) afternoon at the LMU Tennis Complex.
The 50th-ranked Mountain Lions improved to 9-3, while the Railsplitters fell to 8-3. The Mountain Lions remain on the road Sunday (March 19) for a noon match against King (Tenn.) University in Bristol, Tennessee.
LMU tied the match at 2 after picking up a win at No. 2 singles before the Mountain Lions swept the remaining five singles matches - all in straight sets - to pick up the victory.
