AIKEN, S.C. | Charles Padilla drove in five runs and Skylar Mercado knocked in four as the University of South Carolina Aiken defeated Young Harris College 20-0 in a Peach Belt Conference baseball game Sunday (Feb. 26) afternoon at Roberto Hernandez Stadium.
The Pacers, who are No. 10 nationally, improved to 12-2 overall and to 3-0 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions slipped to 3-11 and 0-3. The Mountain Lions return to action Wednesday (March 1) when they entertain Cedarville University in a 3 p.m. contest at Zell B. Miller Field.
USC Aiken, which had 17 hits, broke the game open with seven-run innings in the first and fourth innings.

Tyler Washington each had a hit for the Mountain Lions.
Nick Yobbi (1-0) earned the win with eight strikeouts in six innings, while
Hudson Graham (0-2) took the loss.
