COLUMBUS, Ga. | Columbus State University recorded a 6-3 Peach Belt Conference women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Saturday (Feb. 25) afternoon in a battle of nationally ranked teams at the Cooper Creek Tennis Center.
The Cougars, who are ranked No. 8 in the ITA, improved to 5-1 overall and to 2-0 in the Peach Belt, while the No. 50-ranked Mountain Lions saw their four-match win streak snapped as they fell to 5-2 and 1-1. Young Harris closes out the road trip Sunday (Feb. 26) when they travel to Americus, Georgia, to face Georgia Southwestern State University in an 11 a.m. match.
