YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Zach Beggs and
Brett Westmoreland each hit home runs as the Young Harris College baseball team rallied for a 10-7 win over King (Tenn.) University Sunday (Feb. 12) afternoon at Zell B. Miller Field.
Young Harris improved to 2-4 while King fell to 4-3. Young Harris travels to Brevard, North Carolina, Tuesday (Feb. 14) to play Brevard College in a 2 p.m. contest.
King took advantage of two Young Harris errors in the first inning and added another run in the second to jump out to a 3-0 lead. Young Harris took the lead 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth on

Zach Beggs that ricocheted high off the scoreboard in right-center field. It was hit fifth homer of the season and third this weekend.
The Tornado tied the game at 4 on Bubba Ruiz's home to left in the seventh. King added three runs - two off Dylan Sligh's homer  to right-center -  in the top of the eighth, earning his fifth homerun of the season. Young Harris rallied for six runs in its half of the eighth to regain the lead at 10-7.
Zach Wall doubled home the first run and
Luke Miller was hit with the bases loaded.
Jackson Jones added a sacrifice fly before Westmoreland laced a 1-1 pitch for a three-run homer to left field. It was Westmoreland's first of the season.

Zach Hopkins picked up his first saves as he pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning, including striking out the final batter looking.
Steven Eichhorn (1-0) earned the win, while Grant Boyd (0-1) absorbed the loss.
The Mountain Lions made the most of the five hits, three of which came in the pivotal eighth inning. Odom had two hits, with Wall, Beggs and Jones accounting for the other hits.Â
