ANDERSON, S.C. | Anderson (S.C.) University swept a non-conference baseball doubleheader from Young Harris College Saturday (April 2) afternoon at Memorial Stadium.

The Trojans improved to 15-21 overall after winning by scores of 10-8 and 14-2. The Mountain Lions fell to 10-22. The two teams will wrap up their three-game weekend series with a 2 p.m. contest Sunday (April 3) afternoon at Zell B. Miller Field.

Young Harris collected 10 hits in the opener as they rallied from an early 9-2 deficit.
Nick Sexton had three hits while
Zach Wall and
Brett Westmoreland had two apiece.

Sexton and Wall had RBI singles in the third inning.
Brett Westmoreland led off the sixth with a triple to center and later scored on a passed ball. Westmoreland added an RBI single in the seventh while
Troy Kizer added a sacrifice fly. Sexton added a run-scoring single in the ninth while Wall doubled home another run.

Michael Livingston (2-5) took the loss.

Young Harris was limited to three hits in game two as Anderson scored in every inning but one.
Luke Miller had two hits – a double and a triple – while
Zach Beggs had one.
