FLORENCE, S.C. |  Francis Marion University held off Young Harris College 7-2 in a Peach Belt Conference women's tennis match Sunday (April 16) afternoon at the Kassab Courts.
 
The No. 32 Patriots improved to 17-5 overall and to 8-4 in the Peach Belt while the Mountain Lions fell to 12-8 and 5-7. Both teams await the announcement of the draw for the 2016 Peach Belt Conference Tournament which starts Friday (April 22) at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Courts in Florence, South Carolina.
 
Young Harris picked up wins at No. 2 doubles by Oriana Labaqui and Laura Sanchez and No. 5 singles by Maria Puerta.
