CLEVELAND, Tenn. | Lee University collected 14 hits in a 14-2 non-conference baseball victory over Young Harris College Wednesday (April 13) evening at Olympic Field.
 
The Flames improved to 24-14 while the Mountain Lions fell to 12-27. Young Harris opens a three-game weekend Peach Belt Conference series against the University of Montevallo Friday at 6 p.m. Central time in Montevallo, Alabama.
 
Young Harris took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first on Zach Beggs' RBI single. The Mountain Lions added their other run on the third inning on another RBI single by Beggs.
 
Beggs and Luke Miller had two hits apiece for the Mountain Lions, who collected five for the game. Nick Sexton had the other Young Harris hit.
 
Tyler Burcham (2-1) earned the win for the Flames in relief while Jackson Winskie (0-3) took the loss.
