POOLER, Ga. | The Young Harris College men's golf team finished in eighth place at the Armstrong Pirate Men's Invitational Tuesday (Feb. 23) afternoon.

The Mountain Lions shot a final round 300 on the par 72, 7,016-yard layout at the Savannah Quarters Country Club to finish the 54-hole event at 896. No. 10 Flagler College won the nine-team tournament at 861, eight strokes ahead of No. 14 University of West Georgia.

David Wallin shot his second straight 74 and finished in a tie for 13th place at 220.
Eli Crumley had the low round of the day for the Mountain Lions with a 73 and finished in a tie for 22nd at 223.
Trey Pearson came in 33rd place at 227 after firing a 75 while
Clark Melton was tied for 39th at 230 after shooting a 78.
James Rowe rounded out the YHC contingent in 49th place at 237 after a 79.

The Mountain Lions return to the golf links March 13 when they travel to Monroe, North Carolina, for the J. Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate hosted by Wingate University.
