HICKORY, N.C. | The Young Harris College women's tennis team picked up a 6-3 non-conference victory over Lenoir-Rhyne University Thursday (Feb. 18) at the Hickory High School Tennis Courts.
                   
The Mountain Lions improved to 2-0 while the Bears fell to 2-3. Young Harris will open its home schedule as well as its Peach Belt Conference opener Feb. 20 when they face No. 31 Flagler College in a 10 a.m. match at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
 
Elin Rundcrantz fought back from a 5-2 deficit in the first set of her singles match at the No. 1 flight to win 7-6 (2). She then defeated Dominique Bruce 6-1 in the second set to claim the point for the Mountain Lions.
