DAHLONEGA, Ga. | The Young Harris College men's golf team finished in sixth place at the UNG Fall Invitational Tuesday (Oct. 4) afternoon.
Young Harris shot 293 in the final round of the tournament on the  par 72, 6,945-yard layout at the Achasta Golf Club to complete the 54-hole tournament at 594. Newberry College won the 12-team event with a tournament record score of 831.
Three YHC golfers finished inside the top 20 led by
David Wallin's tie for 10th place at 211 after shooting a 74 in the final round.
Trey Pearson shot the low round of the day for the Mountain Lions with a 71 and tied for 16th place at 214 while
Eli Crumley carded a 72 and finished in a tie for 18th at 215.
Valter Andersson and
John Bolger tied for 39th place at 225. Andersson posted a 76 in the final round while Bolger tallied a 77.
The Mountain Lions also had three golfers competing as individuals in the tournament.
Reeves Bell tied for 51st place at 230 after scoring a 73 in the final round.
Zach Buch came in 60th place at 240 after shooting an 80 while
James Rowe shot an 83 and finished in 62nd at 242.
