FLORENCE, S.C. – Georgia College defeated Young Harris College 5-1 in a quarterfinal match of the 2015 Peach Belt Conference Women's Tennis Tournament Friday (April 24) morning at the Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center.

The No. 15-ranked Bobcats, who are the No. 3 seed in the tournament, improved to 17-5 while the Mountain Lions, who are the No. 6 in their first-ever conference tournament, fell to 13-9.

YHC's win came at No. 1 double as Laura Sanchez and Eva Castiglioni defeated Camile Clausse-Pujo and Kristen Jones 8-5.

Young Harris will face Lander University in an 8 a.m. elimination match Saturday (April 25).
