Mountain Lions falls to No. 26 Georgia College

YOUNG HARRIS , Ga. – Georgia College took a 7-2 Peach Belt Conference women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Saturday (March 7) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

The No. 26 Bobcats improved to 6-1 overall and to 5-1 in the conference while the Mountain Lions fell to 2-5 and 1-4. Young Harris returns to action Tuesday (March 10) with a 3 p.m. contest in Orlando, Florida, against Ave Maria University.

Eva Castiglioni and Elin Rundcrantz teamed up to pick up a 9-7 win for the Mountain Lions at No. 1 doubles while Maria Puerta claimed a 7-6 (0), 6-3 win at No. 5 singles.
