YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Young Harris College upset No. 29 Lander University 6-3 in a Peach Belt Conference women's tennis match Sunday (March 29) afternoon at the Bob and Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.

Young Harris, which has won five of its last six matches, improved to 9-7 overall and to 4-5 in the Peach Belt while the Bearcats fell to 5-5 and 3-4. The Mountain Lions travel to Montevallo, Alabama, for a 1 p.n. Central time PBC match at the University of Montevallo. 

The Mountain Lions took a 2-1 lead after doubles. Young Harris closed out the match as Eva Castiglioni, Elin Rundcrantz, Laura Sanchez and Maria Puerta picked up straight-set victories in singles.
