ROME, Ga. – Shorter University edged Young Harris College 5-4 in a women's tennis match Wednesday (March 25) afternoon at the Rome-Floyd Tennis Center.

Shorter, which is ranked No. 40 in the ITA rankings, improved to 8-3 while the Mountain Lions fell to 7-7. Young Harris returns to Peach Belt Conference competition Saturday (March 28) with a noon match at the Bob and Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex against the University of South Carolina Aiken.
