GREENWOOD, S.C. – Young Harris College moved up two positions to 13th place in the final round of the Bearcat Golf Classic Tuesday (March 24) afternoon.
The Mountain Lions shot 289 on the par 72, 6,800-yard layout at the Greenwood Country Club to complete the 54-hole tournament at 877.
Eli Crumley finished just outside the top 20 as his final round 73 put him in a tie for 21st place at 216. Linus Manntz had the low round of the day for the Mountain Lions with a 70 and moved into a tie for 46th place at 220 while Clark Melton registered a 74 and came in a tie for 54th at 221. David Wallin shot an even par 72 and tied for 65th place at 226 while Trey Pearson fired his second consecutive 77 and came in a tie for 68th.
Young Harris competes in its final regular season tournament Monday (March 30) when they travel to Wallace, North Carolina, for the UNCP/Campbell Oil Classic.
