Mountain Lions compete at Bearcat Golf Classic

GREENWOOD, S.C. – Young Harris College is in 15th place after the first day of the Bearcat Golf Classic Monday (March 23) afternoon.

The Mountain Lions shot rounds of 304 in the morning and 284 in the afternoon on the par 72, 6,800-yard layout at the Greenwood Country Club to stand at 584 after 36 holes. 

Eli Crumley is the top golfer for the Mountain Lions after rounds of 75 and 68 put him in a tie for 20th place. Clark Melton carded scores of 79 and 68 to be in a tie for 49th place at 147 while Linus Manntz and Trey Pearson are tied for 65th at 150. Both of them had scorecards of 73 and 77 on the day. David Wallin fired rounds of 79 and 75 and is tied for 77th place at 154.

The 54-hole tournament concludes Tuesday (March 24).
