YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Young Harris College won four of the six singles matches against Georgia Regents University Augusta Monday (March 16) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex, but the Jaguars held on for the 5-4 Peach Belt Conference women's tennis victory over the Mountain Lions.
The Jaguars, who swept all three doubles matches, improved to 11-2 overall and to 5-2 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions had their two-match winning streak snapped as they fell 4-6 and 1-5. Young Harris continues its homestand with a 3 p.m. contest against Dalton State College Wednesday (March 18).
