POMONA, Calif. | Jordan Faison led Cal Poly Pomona with 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Broncos held off Young Harris College for a 75-69 men's basketball victory over Young Harris College Saturday (Nov. 28) afternoon at Kellogg Arena.

The Broncos remained unbeaten at 6-0 while the Mountain Lions went winless in California as they fell to 1-6. Young Harris returns to action Wednesday (Dec. 2) with a 7 p.m. game against Anderson (S.C.) University in Anderson, South Carolina.

Young Harris jumped out to an early 9-4 lead on a layup by C.J. Wilson with 16:35 remaining. The Mountain Lions would lead by as many as seven points (14-7) on a three-pointer by J.B. The Broncos led by as many as 12 points (40-28) in the opening 20 minutes on a Faison layup.

The Mountain Lions reeled off six unanswered points in the second half to close within five points (53-48) on a Bjorn Walker layup with 10:00 remaining. CPP pushed its lead back to nine points (61-52) on a Dennis layup before Young Harris scored 11 of the next 15 points to trim the deficit to two (65-63) on two Walker free throws with 4:22 to play, but that would be as close as they would get as the Broncos regained a seven-point lead in the final minute of the game.
