CARROLLTON, Ga. | The Young Harris College men's golf team completed their fall season with a third-place finish at the UWG Matt Dyas Invitational Tuesday (Oct. 27) afternoon.

The Mountain Lions shot 295 on the par 72, 7,026-yard layout on the Oak Mountain Championship Golf Course to complete the rain-shortened 36-hole tournament at 589. Tournament host and No. 13-ranked University of West Georgia won the 14-team event with a score of 584, four strokes better than Delta State University.

Trey Pearson was named to the all-tournament team with his fourth-place score of 144 after posting a 75 in the final round.
Clark Melton finished with a 76 and came in a tie for sixth place at 146 while
Eli Crumley has the low round of the day for the Mountain Lions with a 71 and tied for 13th at 148.
Drew Wagner fired a 75 and tied for 30th place at 153 while
David Wallin carded a 74 and finished in a tie for 36th at 154.

Young Harris opens its spring schedule Feb. 22 at the Armstrong Pirate Invitational in Pooler, Georgia.
