YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Bjorn Walker scored 26 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as the Purple team defeated the White team 105-84 in the annual intrasquad scrimmage Tuesday (Oct. 27) evening at the YHC Basketball Arena.
Walker was one of eight players that scored in double figures in the game.
Marques McKoy added 25 points and 12 rebounds for the Purple while
C.J. Wilson nearly had a triple double as he had 19 points, 11 assists anmd eight rebounds.
Ben Waterhouse also tossed in 18 points in the win.
James Laput grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds and scored eight points.
J.B. Charles led the White team with 24 points while
Devin Coleman added 22 points and eight assists.
Marcellus Roberts added 15 points and six rebounds while
Darrius Sizemore tossed in 10 points.
Angus Howey also grabbed eight rebounds.
The Mountain Lions officially open their 2015-16 season Nov. 13 when they face Barton College at 8 p.m. on the first day of the 45 Second Classic in Wilson, North Carolina.
