YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Kevin Altidor scored 36 points as four players scored in double figures as the White team defeated the Purple team 115-84 in the annual Purple-White men's basketball scrimmage Tuesday (Oct. 29) at the YHC Basketball Arena.
The White team shot .557 percent (44-of-79) from the floor while holding the Purple squad to just .387 percent (29-of-75).
Altidor hit 13-of-22 shots from the field as he registered a double double with 10 rebounds. Isaiah Johnson had a triple double for the White squad with 28 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists while Herdie Lawrence contributed 25 points and eight assists. J.B. Charles tossed in 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds,
C.J. Wilson paced the Purple squad with 28 points and six assists while Ben Waterhouse tallied 24 points. Bjorn Walker led all rebound with 15 points while adding eight points. Sam Mike rounded out the team with 21 points.
The Mountain Lions will next play an exhibition game against NCAA Division I Wake Forest University Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
