Taylor in second, Young Harris in seventh at North Greenville tournament

TIGERVILLE, S.C.  – The Young Harris College men's golf team is in seventh place after the opening round of the Cherokee Valley Spring Invitational Monday (March 25) afternoon.

The Mountain Lions fired a round of 326 on the par 72, 6,612-yard layout at the Cherokee Valley Golf Club. Tournament host North Greenville University leads the nine-team tournament at 314, two strokes ahead of Tri-County Technical College.
 
Adam Taylor is tied for second place overall at 74 and is two strokes behind tournament leader Danny Dippell from North Greenville University, Beau Gammage, Parker Hulme, and Chase Hankla are all tied for 26th place after carding rounds of 84 while Matthew Peeler is tied for 37th with an 87.
 
The 36-hole tournament concludes Tuesday (March 26).
