KILLEN, Ala. – The Young Harris College men's golf team finished in 10th place at the TVA Credit Union Invitational Tuesday (Oct. 22) afternoon.
The Mountain Lions shot 311 on the par 72, 7,133-yard layout at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club to complete the 54-hole event at 926. Tournament host University of North Alabama won the event with a three-round score of 874, five better than Columbus State University.
Clark Melton earned a top-20 finish as he carded a 75 to finish in a tie for 19th place at 227. Adam Taylor fired the low round of the tournament for the Mountain Lions with a 73 and finished in a tie for 25th at 228. Eli Crumley fired an 80 and tied for 37th place at 233 while Linus Manntz registered an 83 and tied for 56th at 238. Drew Wagner had an 85 and came in 71st place at 249.
The Mountain Lions wrap up their fall season Monday (Oct. 28) when they travel to Carrollton, Ga., for the Matt Dyas Memorial Tournament hosted by the University of West Georgia.
