KILLEN, Ala. – The Young Harris College men's golf team is in a tie for seventh place after the first two rounds of the TVA Credit Union Invitational Monday (Oct. 21) afternoon.
The Mountain Lions shot 316 in the morning and a 299 in the afternoon on the par 72, 7,133-yard layout at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club to stand at 615 after 36 holes. Tournament host University of North Alabama leads the tournament by five strokes over Columbus State University at 580.
Clark Melton shot back-to-back rounds of 76 and is tied for 24th place at 152. Eli Crumley is tied for 27th place at 153 after putting together rounds of 79 and 74. Adam Taylor and Linus Manntz are tied for 36th place at 155. Taylor had scores of 80 and 75 while Manntz tallied rounds of 81 and 74. Drew Wagner fired rounds of 83 and 81 and is tied for 69th place at 164.
The 54-hole tournament concludes Tuesday (Oct. 22).
