CLARKESVILLE, Ga. – The Young Harris College men's golf team leads after the first round of the Piedmont College Fall Invitational at The Orchard Golf & Country Club Monday (Sept. 10) afternoon.

The Mountain Lions lead the six-team field by 10 strokes over Covenant College after carding a score of 295. Clark Melton leads the tournament with an even-par 72, one better than teammate Matthew Peeler's 73. Adam Taylor and Parker Hulme tallied scores of 75 while Cameron Medina had an 85.

The 36-hole tournament concludes Tuesday (Sept. 11) with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
