Southern Wesleyan (13-37) broke the scoreless tie in the third inning with three runs on four hits to take a 3-0 lead.

Young Harris (27-21) rallied with a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth as David Atwood drew a base on balls to begin the frame and scored when Rudnik, who went 2-for-4, blasted a two-run homer to left, cutting the deficit to 3-2.
