With over thirty years of experience in collegiate volleyball, Todd's extensive background and proven success make him a valuable addition to the Mountain Lions' coaching staff.Â
Todd began his coaching career at Graceland University, where he also excelled as a player. During his time with the Yellowjackets, he helped lead the team to two National Runner-up finishes and earned First Team All-American honors. Following his playing career, Todd transitioned to coaching, achieving immediate success as an assistant coach at Graceland, where he helped the team win a conference championship and reach the NAIA National Tournament Qualifier in 1991.Â
Raasch's coaching journey includes significant roles at several prestigious institutions. At the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, he played a crucial role in the Huskers’ NCAA Division I National Championship victory in 1995. His tenure at Metropolitan State University of Denver saw him earn his first head coaching position, and he further demonstrated his leadership at Florida Atlantic University, DePaul University, and Johnson & Wales University. At Johnson & Wales, he led the Wildcats to the NAIA Men's National Volleyball Tournament on two occasions.Â
In recent years, Todd has continued to build on his impressive career at California State University at San Marcos, Lincoln Memorial University, and Barry University. His teams consistently achieved high levels of success, including conference championships and national tournament appearances. Â
At Young Harris, in year one, Todd will work alongside head coach Jenny Michael to build on the program’s recent achievements. His wealth of experience and commitment to player development will be instrumental as the Mountain Lions aim to continue and success.Â
