Rachel Robb

Rachel Robb completed her first season as an assistant coach for the Young Harris College women's lacrosse program in 2024-25. She helped guide the Mountain Lions to 11 wins and a home victory over North Greenville in the opening round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament, advancing to the quarterfinals in Mount Olive, North Carolina. It marked the second straight year YHC placed five players on the Conference Carolinas All-Conference team.


Rachel Robb came to Young Harris College in the fall of 2017 and played five seasons for the Mountain Lions women’s lacrosse team. Robb played one of her five seasons under coach Hatton, with one full season under her belt in 2022. Throughout five seasons, Rachel compiled 41 starts in 56 games played. Robb spent a total of 2,391:51 minutes in goal for the purple and white and record her record breaking 401st career save to hold the all-time record in YHC women’s lacrosse history for shots saved. She faced 1,156 shots in five seasons, and held a SV% of .442. Robb also scooped up 88 ground balls and caused 11 turnovers for the Mountain Lions. 

Rachel Robb distinguished herself as an exceptional player during her time in the Enchanted Valley, earning several impressive accolades. She was a pivotal force in leading her team to a Gulf South Conference (GSC) Championship and securing back-to-back Regular Season Champion titles. Renowned for her goalkeeping skills, Robb set the record for the most saves in a single season with 169 and holds the all-time career saves record with 401. Her stellar defensive performances earned her the recognition of GSC Defensive Player of the Week, highlighting her impact and consistency as a top-tier goalkeeper. 

Rachel Robb began her coaching career as a club lacrosse coach in 2018 for teams based in Birmingham and Michigan. After college, Robb began her professional coaching career as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Grand Valley State University (GVSU) in Allendale, Michigan, where she quickly made a significant impact. During her time at GVSU, she successfully guided goalie Kaylyn Cater to several prestigious honors, including IWLCA Third Team All-American, First-Team All-Region by IWLCA, and GLIAC Goalkeeper of the Year. Under Robb’s mentorship, Cater led the nation with an impressive 4.99 goals-against average. Thanks to her coaching, GVSU maintained a top 10 ranking throughout the season, captured the GLIAC conference championship, and earned a spot in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. She also coached as a volunteer Assistant Coach at Birmingham Southern College in the Fall of 2022. Rachel Robb is also an alumnus of Young Harris College, where she graduated in 2022 with a BS in Management and BA in Spanish.
