Jake Gabriele

Jake Gabriele begins his first season as an assistant coach for the Young Harris College men's lacrosse program.

Gabriele comes to the Enchanted Valley after spending the past two seasons as head coach at Mississippi State University. With the Bulldogs, he guided Mississippi State to the 2020 Deep South Conference regular season title and ranked 13th nationally – program's highest-ever ranking - in the National College Lacrosse League.
  
Prior to Mississippi State, Gabriele was a goalkeeper for the men's lacrosse at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. He was a part of the first team in the Hornets' program history to make the Old Dominion Athletic Conference playoffs in 2017. Gabriele was named the Dean's List and Athletics Director's List every semester at SU and earned the Bartley Award in history during the 2017-18 academic year.
 
The Baltimore, Maryland, native graduated cum laude from Shenandoah in December 2018 with his bachelor's degree in history.
