AS A JUNIOR (2013-14): Made 14 appearances, starting 12 ... went 4-6 with a 4.54 ERA ... struck out 74 in 77.1 innings ... struck out a career-high 11 in win over Armstrong (3/22/14) ... also registered 10 strikeouts against Shorter (2/8/14) and GRU Augusta (3/29/14). 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2012-13): Started 10 of the 14 games he appeared ... went 3-5 with a 5.52 ERA .... struck out 46 in 62.0 innings pitched ... picked up a save against Brevard (3/13/13) ... had a season-high seven strikeouts against Armstrong (3/22/13),

AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12): Appeared in 17 games, starting three …  went 2-0 with a 6.16 ERA … also had two saves … pitched in 30.2 innings with 24 strikeouts … recorded a career-high five strikeouts in a win over Hiawassee (3/31/12).

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letter winner at Brevard High School for coach Jason Brubaker … awarded all-conference as a senior as he batted .400 with seven homers, 26 stolen bases and a 3.00 ERA … also lettered two years in basketball, earning all-conference honors as a senior.  

PERSONAL: Born Justin Morgan Cooper on March 2, 1993, in Hendersonville, North Carolina … son of Luther and Myra Cooper ...  business and public policy major.
