Reynolds enters his second season as a part of the Young Harris Baseball coaching staff.
In the 2025 season, Reynolds and the Mountain Lions finished with an astounding 40-17 record, making noise in the conference and region all-year until ultimately falling in the NCAA Southeast Regional. In March, Young Harris impressively took a series from North Grenville and swept Mount Olive, two nationally-ranked opponents at the time. The squad was crowned regular season Conference Carolinas Co-Champions and made it all the way to the Conference Carolinas Championship, eventually dropping to Belmont Abbey in the winner-takes-all game. Reynolds helped lead eight athletes to All-Conference honors, four to the NCBWA All-Southeast Region team, four to the D2CCA All-Southeast Region Second Team, three receiving ABCA/Rawlings All-Region awards and Jeremy Begora being selected to the 2025 ABCA Southeast Region All-Defensive team.
He joined Young Harris College as an Assistant Coach, bringing a strong background in both playing and coaching. Reynolds returned to the Mountain Lions after a successful tenure as a player from 2018 to 2019 and subsequent coaching roles at Southwest Mississippi Community College and the University of South Alabama.
During his time at Young Harris, Reynolds started at shortstop, contributing significantly to the team’s success. In 2018, he played all 50 games, batting .276 with one home run, five doubles, 23 RBIs, and 35 runs scored. The following year, Reynolds helped lead the Mountain Lions to a Peach Belt Conference Tournament title and a spot in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional. He finished the 2019 season with 30 RBIs and a .913 fielding percentage.
Reynolds graduated from Young Harris with a degree in economics in 2019. He began his coaching career as an infield coach and recruiter at Southwest Mississippi Community College before serving as a graduate assistant and later an assistant coach at the University of South Alabama. Reynolds earned a master’s degree in sports management from South Alabama in 2022.
In his role, Reynolds serves as the Recruiting Coordinator and works with hitters and infielders, bringing his expertise and experience back to his alma mater.
