Young Harris College is committed to the principles of institutional control in operating its athletics program, and it is the responsibility of the college administration, staff, coaching staff members, student-athletes and boosters to adhere to all regulations created for the governance of intercollegiate athletics as set forth by the NCAA and Conference Carolinas.
The goal of this site is to provide our boosters, alumni, fans, coaches, prospects and student-athletes information regarding the rules and regulations of the NCAA and Conference Carolinas. While not all inclusive, it is meant to provide guidance in many of the situations you may encounter and should help you avoid inadvertently violating NCAA policies. Strict adherence to NCAA and Conference Carolinas rules and regulations is essential to creating a winning environment for all of YHC's athletics teams, which means asking questions frequently.

acknight@yhc.edu. Asking questions before acting ensures that the eligibility of our department and our student-athletes is not jeopardized. The compliance staff strives to provide answers to questions within 24-48 hours, depending upon the complexity of the question and whether consultation with the conference office is necessary.
